Lakshdeep Army Band & Malvai Gidda
We are a Rara Sahib based team offering two complete performance groups under one name — a uniformed Army / Pipe Band and a colourful Malvai Gidda group.
Our band plays bagpipes, side drums and bass drums in full ceremonial dress for baraat entry, milni, receptions, inaugurations, Nagar Kirtan and Shobha Yatra. Our gidda group performs traditional Malvai Gidda with dhol, chimta, sapp, algoze and boliyan for weddings, jaggo, nanka mail entry and cultural programmes.
